Welcome!! Located in Central Florida, the Santos trails offer the most varied terrain for mountain biking available in the state of Florida.
IMBA Designates Santos as Bronze Level Ride Center
OMBA is proud to announce that the Santos Trail System has been designated an IMBA Ride Center – Bronze Level! OMBA is proud of the efforts of all of our members, volunteers and both present and past officers and Board Members, as well as the wonderful folks at the Office of Greenways and Trails. You can check out the honors at IMBA's website.

In 1993 local volunteers began building trails on land that is part of the Cross Florida Greenways. Consisting of 85,000 acres stretching from the Atlantic coast to the Gulf of Mexico, the Greenways is the state of Florida's crown jewel for outdoor recreation. Today there are over 85 miles of trails with riding levels for everyone, from children to seniors. From flat and smooth, to challenging climbs through the rocky quarries, to 20' drops for the adrenaline junkies. Santos trails have been known for years by all that have ridden there as having something for everyone!
The Ocala Mountain Bike Association has strived to not only provide an enjoyable and challenging riding experience, they have also dedicated themselves to offering social and educational activities that give everyone the opportunity to participate, make new friends and, advance your riding abilities.
Every March OMBA hosts the Spring Break Fat Tire Festival; 3 days and 2 nights of music, food, friends and riding. Whether you're a hardcore cyclist or a casual cruiser, the Spring Break FTF is a family event enjoyed every year by riders from across the U.S.
In October
there are two popular events:
The Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day gives parents the opportunity to
introduce their children to off-road mountain biking. Led by
OMBA Bike Patrol members, your child will experience the joy of
exploring Florida's outdoors, on beginner trails, followed by a free
lunch and gifts for the young ones.
October is also time for the Ride of the Living Dead! 50 miles
of ghoulish riding with prizes for the best costume. SAG
stops, lunch and prizes. All sponsored by area businesses.
