THANKS EVERYONE
OMBA would like to thank everyone, who worked on the Pump Track. It is done, it is awesome. A lot of hard work, sweat, blisters and sore bodies from a lot of folks went into this track. Thanks to Gone Riding for the swag, and lunch.
Thanks to everyone who put in the hours to make this project happen, and to everyone who helped complete it.
After the completion it was great to see three young kids out there riding the pants off of most of the adults. Of course there were some adults who managed to crash, but I am not to mention names. Then come to think about it there was some of the adults who labored for two days moving dirt, and more dirt decided it was time to give it a try, it looked like they were having more fun than the kids.
Thanks to everyone and to Ben from IMBA who came to help. It is a great addition to the Santos Trails.

Take a Kid Mountain Biking
Take a Kid Mountain Biking day sponsored by Lockheed Martin, Flowers Bakery, Wal-Mart, Primal, Village Cycle, Ocala Cycle Center and IMBA.
It was a great day to take a kid out on mountain bikes, the weather was perfect. Before the ride the kids went through a short lesson on bike safety, and how to check for helmet fit. Once everyone passed inspection we explained a little about skye park and how to ride it. Needless to say we had a few bumps and scratches but nothing major. We eventually split them into groups and took them out on the trails, some of the kids came back and wanted to go out again, while others looked exhausted.

The reward for finishing their ride was a BBQ, and swag. Some of the parents even got swag. In all total we had 40 kids and a parent and a half.
I would like to thank all the patrol members who helped out on this event, and Rob who did a great job in organizing and running the event. Thanks everyone for another successful event. OMBA Rocks..
A few more photos, the rest of the photos can be found at:
, stay tune for more photos all have not been uploaded yet. I would like to thank all of our photographers, we have approx. 200 photos of the kids, thanks photographers..
